• Research activities and teaching:

My research project consists of the assessment of silviculture and forest management through phenomenological modelling approaches at the forest-stand and management-unit scales. The assessment concerns wood production for different uses (material, energy) and environmental impacts (e.g. nutrient exportation). At a larger spatial scale, I am interested in the time-course change of forest resources in the context of changes in the forest-wood sector (e.g. in wood demand). I contribute to the transfer of knowledge and skills in these fields through teaching in forest science and engineering
